time for a national anarchist conference?

-> Catch: of course it would be a meeting about meetings, that's how we organise, isn't it? At least down here in Cardiff we haven't yet figured out how to organise telepathically, so we have meetings.

Nothing wrong with meetings per se, I don't see much point in national co-ordination unless it's tied to actual things occurring on a local/regional/workplace level, though, maybe if it was going to deal with say merging some of the publications or creating joint resources to make them easier to produce. A National Anarchist conference might deal with that, or it might deal with setting up a network, umbrella group, more electronic discussions and very little else, or yet more activist timetable set-pieces. A bit of both is OK (minus the set-pieces), just the latter wouldn't be anything other than a complete waste of time.

Pat Stack is allergic to wood, apparently. So he couldn't stomach being surrounded by so many artisans and craftsmen i'm afraid. You'll have to find someone else.

Ok what about Tim Scargill?
