Couldn't disagree more really, either about Tim or Jeff.

Sadly missed, both of them.

Of course, I quite appreciate that those who listen to the utter shite that passes as music nowadays wont agree with me, however, time will tell, we'll see whose work is still available in the shops in a decade or two.

Actually, half the reason i don't like Tim Buckley is that he's in no way as talented or moving as, for example, Van Morrison. So it's got naff all to do with contemporaneity or such.

Now, having listened to Tim Buckley, I feel that, without his modern proteges, or the fact that his influences are not innovative, you can't say he's a bad musician without a good voice. The Meat Loaf comment made me laugh, however.
