I'm well chuffed at getting her down to the club
I don't know what kind of charming device you had to use to get her there but I'm so glad you did.
She managed to insult everyone at Offline, and Brixton, womankind, etc etc, and I just loved her for it.
I could have listened to her ranting for another hour.And I only have a '5 fag hangover'

They're back again soon, playing Offline at the Albert (Eme's birthday) on Friday 30th May.
Shazia was superb. I even enjoyed her mercilessly taking the piss out of me! She really enjoyed Offline too, and is up for another gig, so I'll give her a longer set next time
That was ace. Shazia was very funny, but I think The Boycott Coca Cola Rxperience was my highlight. Foot-stomping country/blues interspersed with dry funnies. Like

Sorry to miss Shazia, but I was depending on Eva Luna's lift and I was well knackered anyway after having been up at Oxford the night before and niot in bed til after 1 am. So my time was shortlived, nice to see a few Urbans there though!

The Boycott Coca Cola Experience were pretty good by the end of their set, but for me they took a bit of getting used to, and I was not very complimentary at the start about theuir drummer and bassist .... the guest singer was the business though!

**Very friendly. Drums with No 1 Station (ska heroes) too. Will appear at the Sunrise Celebration festival in various guises, including a one man band with all the drums, tamborines, harmonica, guitar etc. Plus with No. 1 Station.
Possibly Glasto too.

yeah, that was a great night. i missed lots of people who were there though, which is a bloody shame. barely spoke to anyone, so apols if i missed you people, i wasn't avoiding you, i was just busy between bands!

i feel like the 4 soda water i drank haven been gin tonics instead. just realise i did have alcohol yesterday. 2 glasses of cava...that might be why!
also i feel like i have smoked cigarettes. in social situations like yesterday i realise that i am still not a non smoker. i would have loved to smoke along...

That explains why I was confused and they weren't best pleased when I tried to offer them one drink token for the entire band!
