What a fantastic fireplace madz. And gorgeous chair.

*want to live in the country* :(
:D

It is a lovely house but not all houses in the country are this nice

My husband makes the chairs

Working on sewing a linen shirt. I keep it a mess. I really need to buy a table.

LOVE your kitchen, Madz.

*jealous*
As kitchens go it's a bit shit. It's pretty but it has very few units and the cooker is tiny. If we owned it I'd have a very different layout.

Here is the art on my wall what I made. I painted some canvasses with different shades of red. It's not thrilling, but I like it because I am TERRIBLE at art.

As an added bonus, you can see my cat Hoggy clawing up the carpet.

I have just noticed that madz has a bottle of Gordons on the table. I love her even more

(and your husband makes pretty chairs)

Here's my dull kitchen

And my living room

Extra points if you can spot the cat

how the hell can you sew without a table...hahah i keep meaning to get my sewing machine out but im just incredibly lazy so it sits in a box where it has stayed since i bought it a year ago...maybe if i taught myself to make something other than cushions might give me more inspiration!

Madzone, you have my dream kitchen

I've always wanted a room big enough for a table and chairs.

And that fireplace - wow!

Trashpony - excellent space utilisation in a small kitchen

Thank you. Did you notice that you can actually see the ceiling above the spice jars? I live under the stairs. Like a vacuum cleaner or something

Madz - my home is tidy because my baby can't move yet. There are also some brightly coloured chairs and things which I have cunningly hidden. There are also quite a few sick/posset stains on the carpet :(

Have a student bedroom. This is one of the nicest ones on campus, to the right of the camera is a tiny shower room (ignore the orange squash, thats just my only sink so the squash tends to end up there :o)

"old Singer" looks like a Singer Featherweight, if it is they are worth a lot of money....bought one for my mother years ago off of E-Bay...

you guys are lame.

:(

I'll try and take a picture later, when the cleaning lady has been in.

Or maybe tomorrow, when we've cleared the kitchen extension out and have had our new sofas delivered and installed in it.

I want a cleaning lady! That way, I can be a lazy hippy and no-one will know from looking at my house :)

I am not at work today, and will do some of the housework I was supposed to be doing yesterday, and then I might take a picture of my sitting room :)

Great pics people!

Firky - was that 'the' set? ;) :p Plus is that a cat or a dog on the bed - fucking huge cat if it is one!

Red rose - is that the famous duvet cover? And why have you got a curtain in your loo? is it one of those wet rooms? lol at the squash on the cistern! :D

paolo999 - love that room - the lighting and pics are great... is that a lounge? Looks huge!

:)

Come on Butters - get the cleaner to get a wriggle on so you can take your pics. :p I want a cleaner!!

It is my cat :)

He is fucking HUGE :D

Err no it wasn't the set, I just realised what you meant :D :D :o

my current place is civilised, and homely, but doesn't make for an interesting pic.

Here's the bedroom in a wonderful housing association place I lived in Islington from 1992 to 1995:
(that guy was my boyfriend at the time, he used to get into fights often and had a black eye, and my beloved cat)

It was an old victorian house, so the rooms were big! I was very sad to leave it, as it also had a superb garden :( It was converted into a very posh house after we moved out.

Also, note the absence of a computer anywhere in the room! Shocking!

Just clearing up my desktop and found these.

Garden:

It's small, but I like it. No lawn to mow either. The Tesco bag's got washing pegs in it. I need a more stylish pegbag I think.

Kitchen

The bit through the door is a sort of added on bit that was built out into the garden. Note the worrying lack of wine in the wine rack.

I thought I had some pics of our old flat on my pc, but it seems that they may still be on my phone (which I think I've lost over the weekend :( )

I did find one of my shed though...
