Through the keyhole, urban style. With pics.:)

A typical scene in my front room.

Also, a damning indictment of how me and my flatmate spend our time - staring at laptops, half-watching crap on telly, communicatng no more than is necessary than to show the other the occasional funny video on Youtube.

My living room:

Cat hair on the floor, Sunday papers lying about, mess on the table. :o

The most important room:

Look at that mess :o - in fairness, I have just finished a baking project. Also, those things on the fridge are magnetic containers that hold my spices. I love them, they're so useful and save space.

If you look closely, you can see some small sheep hanging out on top of the fridge.

Hiccup - I can't believe you haven't eaten all those Jolly Ranchers yet.

Took the photo a couple of weeks ago. The Jolly Ranchers and the Reece's Peanut Butter Cups are, sadly, all long gone.

fab pics!

hiccup, loving the laptop action! :D

miss fran, kitchen is NOT messy...i can almost smell that post-baking smell and are those the goodies sitting uptop the counter?

Bah, missfran - call that a messy kitchen? This is a messy kitchen (or at least it was until 15 mins ago :) ).

This is one side of my living room:

I like having the big patio door and the little one uses the table to eat his breakfast.

And this is the other side:

LIVINGROOM1.jpg

The blue box contains the dogs toys.

It's always a bit messy but I prefer to call it homely. :o

 You have a dishwasher and the dishes are still piled up on the side, moomoo?

;)

Nice home, moomoo... yeah, it is homely. :)

Now DHL me some of those leftover yorkshire pudds, y'hear? :)

My Mum has that exact same carpet/rug. She also has that exact same garden table.

You're not my Mum, are you?

You've had a proper Sunday roast, haven't you? Lovely :)

It was rather scrummy - had the in laws round so it was the full works including slow roast rib of beef, homemade yorkshires, veg, roast potatoes and parsnips, mashed sweet potato and cauliflower cheese.

And the dishwasher is now loaded and running and the kitchen is spotless again.

Hiccup, I don't think I'm your mum but if I am could you bring me some milk on your way home please? :) The rug is really old but I refuse to replace it until the kids and dog are a bit more housetrained.

And the garden set isn't actually mine! We just sort of look after it for a friend who runs an exhibition company so it disappears a couple of times a year when he needs it for a show. Always comes back cleaned and varnished. :D
