So everyone heard the new teaser track on their Myspace? Waaaay above expectations there, lucky people you whats going!

I have now. Vow of silence. It sounds like the aftermath of a particularly successful invasion of earth as the victorious extra-terrestrials have marched on the governments of the earth and now they're off to a party playing the kazoo.

this and the new Doctor Who. I wouldn't have liked to have had any more excitement than that in one weekend.

Can't wait until the ica session. :D

Where is my copy of Part 2  It was dispatched on 30th :( I want my totemic gift now  Bloody post office etc...

The new track on their Myspace is way good

Edit: Just checked the post again. Postman must have been late. I now love the post office again as the album has arrived along with my tickets for the Tate and an invite to a party

Bought the album today, with the wooden totem in the jewel case. Haven't had a chance to listen to it yet.

I got my ticket confirmation and didn't see that you had to pay by 8 April. So I paid later than that. They've taken the money but haven't responded to my emails. don't s'pose anyone has any thoughts on how I might get through to them???

So who went and what did you think?

I thought it was great. The sound was mighty, and what a great space the turbine hall was for it. I was quite far up the slope and the bass was going through me at times. The music went perfectly with the films. They had a choir performing with them too. I really liked lounging on the floor on cushions rather than proper seats.

It started with a hum, which gradually got louder and louder. I noticed it straight away, but i think most people didn't hear it till it got really loud and TG actually came on stage. They did the first tune with no film and just a projection of the endless not logo. When the films started they did everything sitting down. Gen didn't do any 'singing'- the films were the more important aspect of the night. A group of people behind us who had been drinking mini bottles of champagne left before the films started, not sure why, but a waste of good tickets imo. Heard one of them saying it wasn't what they expected

Couple of bits of overpriced merchandise to be had. Prostitution 2007 t shirts and poster. Endless not badge, which was a tenner, but i wish i'd got one. I got a very cheery music from the death factory poster. I only realised that the death factory picture looked a lot like the Tate as we were going back over the wobbly bridge and i looked back at it. Managed to get it nearly home without any damage :D

It's going to take something quite special to beat this in the my gig of the year stakes

Should be great at the ICA next week. Shame i can't go though. Hope everyone has a great time.

We thought it was great too, but found the films a bit dull. The sound was awesome, heavy heavy bass, very physical. We did worry about the effect on baby though.
