This week I've mostly been listening to

not got it yet as it's not out until next week but i keep having to listen to clips of "ritual" by dom and sketch as it is the best drum n bass tune i have heard in a very very very long time.

it's quite a dark, techy number with a throbbing bass and sounds like the soundtrack to some jungle tribes shamanic ritual

cool :) - glad somebody listens ;)

the other two albums are both great, but that one got me through a real low point in my life. like the man says, "it's a sad and beautiful world" :)

want me to send you an mp3? :)

Ummm . . . Happy Hardcore, some random breaks, Kid 606, Duran Duran Duran . . . I've been singing lots of Mozart, Britten and Howells as well . . .

Audio Bullys, Generation.

OK - chops and changes all over the place, some good songs, some poor ones and one plain fucking annoying.

The title track remoinds me of 1990, gives me a big nostalgia buzz.

Death And The Maiden by Schubert, Koyaanisquatsi by Glass, Their Law - The Singles by The Prodigy, O Superman, Laurie Anderson (BIG thanks to Acid Priest for that!!), varios DnB mixes from Topaz and a site Milesy reccomended.

at home i have been mostly listening to, and singing along with, lots of old Studio One tunes.

lovely stuff. :)

Dakser & Grinner: Electro Disco with main subjects: Freaky women, drugs and broken hearts.

Best of Funk

"Dirty Disco" by KRS

Will let you know, but it sounds like an abomination.

Fuck, the Bernstein Post-Berlin Wall gig is slow and ponderous enough. Thing's supposed to be played allegro and with vim and verve...it's a celebration after all!!

recommend me some Gotan Project then - I discovered their version of Paris Texas a while ago and really like it
I've been listening to this. Had the chance to see them on a freebie in the summer, but spent the evening in a pub 50 yards away instead  :(
