people seem to think that it wasn't very 'real' but at the time I related to it more strongly than anything on tv or film. It seemed to be quite insightful about london in the mid 90s, admittedly the house share looked like a tv set

Without wishing to state the obvious, trying to make a TV drama that is inclusive of all types of people in London might be a bit of a stretch on a BBC budget. Anna, fwiw, was a total goddess. Will watch this with interest.

Back in the day I used to love this show, I remember it being real cult viewing but I saw an episode not s'long ago on some cable channel, and it looked so dated... all that jerky camera stuff and melodrama. I wondered what I ever saw in it. But I'll probably watch the special just for old times sake.

Same for me. Will it be on the bbc website, or will I have to round a friend's to watch it? Thanks pie, dub does remind me of miles, wander if he's got his devastating good looks as well.
