Fuckin' myspace! Track didn't play (tried the standalone player as well). This is not unusual with myspace. TAG (a similar project in development) is crap as well. I have a presence on both.

Hang on just a darned minute. Just downloaded the NIN track and they arent even remotely similar. Apart from they are synthy.

Must be just me. Am *certain* that your bass line is the same notes.

Must be my ears then - I still think the bass lines sound the same (apart from the third note in the loop which *is* the same note but played an octave higher), and the speed of the track is identical too, but to be honest this isn't a complaint! Bearing in mind that I think Trent Reznor is a genius and I would give both testicles to have written any of his tracks, Pretty Hate Machine is a pretty good blueprint to start with - amazing that the album is 17 (SEVENTEEN!) years old!
