Third Test Thread

brilliant start by the lads - lets hammer the bastards into the ground and post a BIG first innings - Tresco and Vaughan tons each please :)

120-1

Pidgeon's had two dropped catches and bowled vaughany off a no-ball.

gutted for him.

not.

Whats going on with Gilly's drops - i cant get near a tv - were they easy chances or difficult - just not like him to drop anything really.

I've only seen the first one and it was regulation. Not hard at all.

very odd - i can't remember the last time ive seen him have an off day behind the stumps. lets just hope we make the most of it and are as rutheless as the Aussies would be.

Bad news for Ian Bell and Andy Strauss: Warne's just got one to spin from middle to nine inches outside off. Trescothick retaliates with a bludgeoning boundary through long on.

sounds like its turning a lot!!

First one was regulation for Gilly, second quite hard near first slip. The odd one turning, not majorly though. Great start England, with quite a little luck it must be said.

Tres goes to Warne 600, chapeau sir.

Vaughn will make 140 + i think...
Oi, you're not allowed to do that, especially when you're an Aussie.

He is batting well, but Warne is up to his old tricks and tying us up right now.

for every run vaughan gets over 63, my brother gets a pound from the bookies.... go on vaughnaldo!!!! my bro's doing nicely already

very pleased about this start. bell looks petrified though and wouldn't normally have survived. but the aussies are not firing and it's a batting dream on that pitch. who ever bowls the best will win

goon lads....

got a doctor's appointment at half three and already had three beers

looks like your bro should make a few quid... i dont see mcgrath taking any wickets for a while...that ankle doesnt look fully healed, he just isnt running in with the same pace etc

what is the point of being at work and looking at a screen for test scores? why don't bosses see sense and FREE people who have better things to think about and do.. I'm very happy to work a 3 day week when test matches are on.. seems very reasonable to me.. completely fucking pissed off to be sitting at a desk instead of where I should be.. in a pub with a tv..

RANT OVER
