Things I Didn't Buy

I could do with a new pair of shoes, but my current pair will probably have to go until it starts getting cold.

erm... food :(

shoes, mine have holes in the soles so are a nightmare in the rain. Blinds for my window as my curtain rail is hanging off and wrecked. A wardrobe or even just a rail to hang me clothes on. The list goes on, there's a lot of stuff I need to buy but every week I can't afford to

It's a bummer innit? I have got a reasonable pair of shoes but they're not quite wide enough and my feet start hurting like hell after about 3 hours. :( Or one or two other somewhat tatty pairs for simply popping out to the shops for a quarter hour or so.

i didnt buy a trip to manchester, or a hotel room there for a night.

i didnt buy an entry ticket to grooverider's release party at koko last night. or any £5 bottles of beer while inside :( :(

i did buy 2 pints in an old mans pub in bromley. :(

have you got a dvd burner drive on your computer? rent it ( use a free online trial) then copy it?

i thought of that but the rental place i use dont have it, they dont have the lion king either so i've concluded that disney are bastards

I didn't do any shopping this weekend. Can't be bothered to sit down and write a proper list of planned meals and cheaper washing powder etc instead of just wandering around until my basket is full :(

Haz lived on eggy bread and beer

I didn't buy some Betty Spaghetti dolls for my niece's birthday - I bought her some Thomas the Tank Engine toys and a colouring book thing.

I will go to Brent Cross this week to get me a bra and some bits and bobs for the baby, but now I'm on maternity leave I'll be looking at my bank balance and taking out some cash to the value I can afford to spare until the next lot of money comes in. Credit card is going to stay at home to be used strictly for online purchases from now on!

A winter coat from M & S that was £60. I got it for a fiver off ebay instead

bloody nora, good going

i didn't buy a silver rose ring, for £30, instead i have bought two pair of dice earings on ebay for £9 including postage

bloody nora, good going

I know! I put in a bid that I would let go up to £20, thinking someone else would almost certainly out-bid me but no one else bid! No idea why, it's a lovely coat, black, mid-length, lined, fur collar, nothing wrong with it just too big for the seller. I'm pleased as punch with it.

Not feeling the pinch yet, so bought some new trainers on Saturday and will finally get a new cooker in the next two weeks. I'm shocked how long I've got by without an oven, but now that it's got colder the urge to bake and roast has taken over so should get one sorted for half term.

I've always tried to be thrifty, so no change here.

Even considering splurging £500 on a new matress. Can't put a price on a good night's sleep.

Over the weekend I didn't buy one night in a hotel ($40-$60). I went to a harvest festival in Iowa and slept rough in their city park. My car is actually quite comfy.

Then, I didn't buy a craft kit ($17.50) from a vendor there.

I've been wearing an extra jumper and keeping the heating thermostat a bit lower....stealing envelopes from work...posting 2nd class...more Morrisons and less Fresh and Wild...more soup....

Unfortunately I tapped out twice yesterday with my Oyster so that was a bit of savings up the swanny
