On what would have been Phil Lynott's 72nd Birthday, there's a statue going up in West Brom, not too far from the one of the Three Degrees (Regis Batson and Cunningham that is, not the Philly Soul Trio). Phil was born in Hallam Hospital in West Brom. Theres a live stream of a tribute band at some stage today too. All the details are here...
