False passport maybe? The police didn't know his name? etc.Stobart Stopper said:What bothers me is how he managed to get out of the country.
If he had no criminal record and no known connection with terrorists why should he have been stopped from coming into the country?Floh said:It bothers me more how he managed to get in the country if it turns out he wasn't born in Britain and, like one of the others arrested today, was recently granted citizenship of Britain.

trashpony said:Why is the footage of the arrest of the guy in Notting Hill credited 'ITV/Daily Mail. Are they in some kind of vile tie-in that I don't know about?
I doubt that would stand up in court though, would it? (For instance, even disregarding the point that prior to a trial nobody can be said to have done it, you don't know for sure that the chap in the CCTV picture actually did anything.)Bernie Gunther said:Well, having seen the footage earlier showing someone who seems fairly obviously to be the same guy as one in the CCTV photos, being arrested on that balcony, it begins to look more likely that the police got this bit right.
No. I'm sure you're quite right.Donna Ferentes said:I doubt that would stand up in court though, would it? (For instance, even disregarding the point that prior to a trial nobody can be said to have done it, you don't know for sure that the chap in the CCTV picture actually did anything.)
