These trainers?

I'm getting these next I reckon or one of the other colour combo's :)

grinder has (hopefully) finished with a pair of these recently - he wore them till his feet were coming through. i'd take that as a recommendation. I think they're pretty stylish too. his were grey tones with a sort of burgundy colour swooshy bit.

What does anyone think of these Paul Smith beauties?

They're really soft leather and look pretty darn hot irl but I'm still undecided. It's either the cheaper Puma ones back up there ^^^^ somewhere or save up and get these Paul Smith (£90) ones. . .I know they're a bit plain but they're understated cool I reckon :D

Thoughts anyone?

Ahhh! I've seen those ones on the Coggles website (which is rather good!).

That's where the pic's from

The shop began about 30 yrs ago (as a market stall) in the town where I live. I rarely shop anywhere else tbh, been that way for years. They went thru a crap spell a few yrs ago but apart from that they've always been the ace-est clothes shop around :)

Oh... you can tell I spend too much time looking at clothes online at work then :o:D

I've bought some pieces online from there before - would love to visit the actual shop one day... I quite like the story behind the name of the place! Anyway - back to your trainers - I vote "yes" you should get them ;)

Edit - or hang on as they may turn up in one of the P.Smith outlet shops if you can get to one... the one in Portsmouth is likely to get ones like those in, but it could be a little while.

They're nice snaps! Will they make your feet look really loooong??

Love Paul Smith stuff cos of the little quirks. :)

Yeh I like a lot of the stuff PS do but I'd never come across any of their trainers before I saw these. I have actually tried them on and they felt ace and no they didn't make my feet look really long but I have had that before with narrow shoes so fair play for mentioning it.

good point, cheers.

dodgepot: thanks for your input, duly noted :D

I had some suede Cortez a few years back and they lasted well and looked really good with shorts. They were on of those kind of shoes that you always end up wearing rather than the pairs you buy and never wear. Although they look kind of retro on the surface they are actually modernly chic and have a slick look. They are also extremely light and comfortable.

Funny enough the shoes I wear at the moment are very similar style Duffs.

Oh and snapper those Paul Smiths look like they come from a Jumble Sale :p

Fook ooorf  :D

The trainers I've got that I love and would wear in pref to all my others if it weren't for the fact that they're on the verge of being worn out to the point of looking fucked is a pair of red Adidas Boston Super. I've only ever seen one other person with some on and loads of peeps have said how ace they are lol they are tho and they seem to go really well with almost everything i've got despite being red, I want to marry them :o :D

yeah fair enough, i'm really not sure if i like the PS one's enough to fork out 90bar on them, doubt I will come to think of it but if I find them for 50 somewhere I prolly would. Are you more of a sensible shoes wearer these days then ed (as opposed to trainers)?
