These newfangled mobiles that do the internet - clue me in.

Don't they do any other designs? That leopard one is horrible!
They and everyone else do lots of other, boring, plain designs. I didn't want plain black or brown, the reds all looked cheap and almost every other pretty case is barbie pink. Leopard print is chic. In fact there's a feature in the supplement with this month's Vogue - leopard print is one of their ten everlasting style elements (together with things like the little black dress, and high heels...)

I'm guessing Spangles doesn't think so.

Quite. Don't mess with me, sonny, on matters of taste and style... you'll wish you'd never been born.:hmm:

Yeah, that case is fine if it's in your bag. Screen is actually incredibly scratch resistant. I've had mine 5 months and don't have a single scratch on the screen.
it's not so much scratches as the fear of pulling out my keys to find the phone impaled upon them like a lollipop.

I'm not talking to you any more.

You've got an iPhone....

You've joined the tedious clique, you'll be one of those saddos huddled round in the pub, comparing "apps" and revelling in seeing your location on google maps...:(

It'll just be her and her iFriends from now on. Shunned by everyone else. Maybe the leopardskin will be sufficient disguise to prevent embarrassment in polite company though.

It fills me with great delight to know that you'll have the least trendy looking of the supposedly most trendy phones around....:D

oh but it has come and it is making me sad!

the instructions say

connect your iphone to a usb port on your computer using the dock and cable in the box. Attache the cable to the iphone first then the computer. iTunes will open up automatically.

but itunes has done no such thing!

itunes on the phone is just sitting there, and all that happened on my computer was the camera wizard popped up.

do i need to download itunes to the computer first?

So, my current mobile contract is about to expire. I'm on a very cheap (sub £20 a month) contract -

Mine is £12 a month. That sounds cheaper.

I friend of mine just told me that they had managed to get a HTC Tattoo on Orange with 900 anytime any-network minutes and free unlimited internet.

WTF? Apparently they just kept phoning up and asking for better deals and talking about other networks until they caved. I feel a bit pissed off because my deal will mean I have to pay an extra £5 a month for 250mb of internets.
