Bit of a stange situation in the game now. There's a fair chance Plunkett and Hoggard and the rest to come will prod around for 15 overs tomorrow morning for about 25 runs, a waste of time IMO. We should either declare overnight or tell the batters in no uncertain terms to hit it tomorrow and if they add a quick 40 runs or so then great but if they get out quick great too so we can have all day to bowl them out.

I was in a box at Lords yesterday - hooray! Although it was good to see Strauss get his 100, it was very slow. Some tight bowling from the Pakistani's - fair enough. I do think that perhaps England should have slogged a bit more and declared by 5pm to make the game a little more exciting for today. We'll see though. Come on England!
