hmm... i can never be arsed going to the trouble of selling stuff if it's only going to be 12 - 15 quid.

still, a good return on 50p. the version i have had bam doing 'hold on, i'm coming' on the flip, if that makes a difference...

any joy on christmas themed hiphop?

12" mix of Strafe- Set it Off? ['cos the short CD maxi mix is good but lacking]
Mantronix- Who is it (Freestyle Club Mix)?
<looks hopeful>
Please :)

BB, you can make my Christmas by ID'ing the track that starts at about 1:20 on the LWR Scratch Mix which I stuck on that CD I did for you...it's got that really catchy synth line.

Name that tune.

A Captain Rock "Greatest Hits" double LP, unmixed, has been released and you can get the originals of Aleem and Leeroy Burgess' Release Yourself and Get Loose on a Leeroy Burgess Greatest Hits album thats around at the moment too, in case you want to track them down on wax.

Haven't managed that one yet fella, I think I might have to take it to my favourite record shop in Putney.

My pleasure. Glad to have been able to help.

Merry Xmas.

Even though I have this on 12" I have no way to listen to it, so you've come to the rescue.

Really takes me back to being about 11 years old, walking out of the shop with my first 'underground' record, and I was at the start of a 5 year period where I lived and breathed Hip Hop. :D :cool:

Thanks again Boogie Boy, some great tracks there. I'd forgotten how good that History Of Hip Hop by DST track was.:D

Classic early west coast electro.....and not that easy to find either!

Do you have "Lets Jam" by this same guy. Also has anyone got The Nest Mix of Running by The Information Society. Surely someones got this classic.

Yup - but I think that you are after the instrumental mix and NOT the 'Nest Mix' - which was wrongly accredited by Mike Allen.
