That's the one. They had an 'ECW rules' h/c match which spilled around the arena, I had to vacate my seat so Raven could throw someone into it.

I went up to Doncaster for a two-night supershow too, year before last I think, saw my hero Sabu up close for the first time... made up, I was. Especially cos Tracy Smothers was on the bill and that guy is worth the ticket price alone. AND we somehow managed to find our way into some upgraded ringside seats for the second night!

I was at Wrestlecrap just earlier and there's a nice new induction about the 'death of ECW' which occured at the dismal PPV 'December to Dismember'. It was the final straw for Heyman, who recounts his decision to quit in an interesting article from The Sun, of all places. Worth a read if you still hanker for decent booking and writing, which all went down the toilet the moment Heyman lost his influence on the new ECW.

Shit, of course they taped it didn't they? I really should've looked out for that, I remember my hair was pink and green at the time and I was pretty sure I'd show up in the crowd! Plus I managed to start a fair few chants off. 'avin' it that night, we were. I remember getting extremely beered and coked up, then went back to the hotel with big smiles on our faces.
