some hip hop mixtape that someone gave me that I put on the other night when I had friends round, big mistake.

The beats were OK but the lyrics were even more grim than those on A Dee Jay Explosion (an old dancehall album that I've got that's 25% heaven and 75% lyrically the most depressing thing you've ever heard.)

I mean this album is so bad that I'm keeping it so I can write a paper deconstructing it one day.

Desmond Child's solo album called Discipline.

I liked the work he'd done with Aerosmith, Bon Jovi, Alice Cooper, KISS and RATT in the 80's.

His album is very, very shit and I like hair metal. In my defence I brought it before he'd written Sisqo's - "Thong Song" and Ricky Martin's"Livin La Vida Loca"

If only I knew then what I knew now. :(

Mind you sometimes you should judge an album by it's cover.

That would have set alarm bells ringing. Even when I liked hair metal, I still knew that Bolt-On was purest evil. :D

I can't find the CD I was on about last night, so I may have disposed of it at some time.

However, I do own Golden Arms Redemption, by U-God, which is surely the shittiest solo among some fairly crappy Wu solos. And the first Starsailor and Coldplay records, for which I can only say :o :o

Yeah, but he wrote a song for Iggy Pop so I thought it may cancel it out. It didn't.

I possess a Stryper album :o

In my defence it belonged to an ex boyfriend, who chose to nick a lot of my good albums when we split, and leave me the Stryper one and Whitesnake "Live in the heart of the city"

:D

Oi! Leave Hawkwind and Genesis P Orridge out of this

Well miss Fairy....I think you'll find that IMHO some of your stuff is well dodgy too ;) :D

Without doubt. Bought at the peak of my dance craze - "Pink Floyd remixed trance style". I compounded the error by buying both CDs. :(

The rave review I read on the 'net can only have been by the twat who simply ruined Pink Floyd's two greatest albums with stylophone "enhancements" .

:p :p :p :p

There's nowt wrong with my music collection just your HO;)

Saturday Night Fever - sound track (cover version from Woolies circa 1976). Has a painted picture of a John Travolta lookalike on the cover but, all the songs are very authentic sounding.

hah - they did all of the floyd albums trance style. they were all shite too...

mind you, the originals were not much better. :p

U2 Achtung Baby

shite.

Not sure if I agree with this statement. I think Achtung Baby was a great album. I'd put it up there in the top 3 U2 albums.

Different strokes for different folks.

'Tis criminal to do The Floyd with Stylophone enhancement, however Stylophones* can be good used in the right context....

* see also Theramins, Kazoos and Ukuleles :D

tragic kingdom by no doubt.
i gave it to a friend, and she returned it the next day :)

also got a huge box full of 80's glam cd's and tapes (not all bought by me, but that's no excuse).

bang tango, ratt, junkyard...:D

I'm quite lucky that way, when I split with my ex, I left her almost all the CDs except a choice few.

All that hair metal terror... gone.

No Stryper, but damn, there was some dodgy rubbish in there from when I was young.

:o :D
