Lance Reddick (Cedric Daniels), as well as having a MySpace page and a budding musical career D), is currently starring on a sort of X Files-ish show called Fringe, about FBI agents who investigate unexplained phenomena. I haven't seen an episode, but the ads make it look truly dire.

Fringe is ok, saved by a good performance by John Noble, who played Denethor in LOTR, as a benignly mad scientist. Fringe takes itself much less seriously than X-Files.
