I had a bit of a laptop disaster a few months back (monsoon humidity + laptop = bad combination) and it looks like I lost it then. Along with a lot of other stuff. :(

Arse. I'll have another look around BitTorrent, though - it's out there somewhere, dammit. :mad: Somebody equally nerdy very kindly put together a d/l called 'White Stripes Fun Pack' and it had all sorts of little gems on it.

It says tickets go on sale on the 11th, but not at what time. We need to know the time cos they'll sell out in seconds.

They are taking the pearly thing quite seriously!

The White Stripes are donating proceeds from the performance to the Chelsea Pensioners' Appeal, plus several other good causes that are supported by The London Pearly Kings and Queens Society.

I don't think I could ever define what exactly "it" is, but The White Stripes definitely have "it". I'm not sure I like The Raconteurs all that much, but the Loretta Lynn album is great, and so is the Cold Mountain soundtrack. I'd love to see TWS again live - what a bloody great racket they make. .

I'm worried that because the sale was early that touts got them all and it will cost a fortune to get them.

How would the early sale help the touts? And as sales were limited to 2 tickets each, they can't have got many.
