I'm looking at that photo and thinking that's not AC/DC
Goes back to front page and multiple pictures of Bon
I saw UFO about 10 years ago (I blagged it!) and they were pretty poor. The highlight was a rather overdressed Mogg running to the drum riser, misjudging a jump onto it and cracking his shin

Hmmm surely the ultimate rock frontman, love him or hate him has to be Freddie Mercury although perhaps he doesnt fit the metal niche category (Bon would be my second choice).
Honourable mentions would go to Phil lynott (whom I saw with grand slam a few weeks before he died...he was quite fat and yellow) and Dave Wyndorf (Monster Magnet)
In your VH slamdown its hard to find between Dave Lee Roth and Sammy Hagar although DLR in his prime would win for me.
I too have a soft spot for Mr Mogg. I saw UFO last year for first time in ages, they were really good and back on track after wasting too much time trying to keep michael schenker sober. new guitarist vinnie moore is excellent and pete way very funny as usual.
