Oh yes, it's Communism in its purest form.

Communism has never existed anywhere ever. Although the Chinese communists might say it's on the path to a communist future (I don't see many believing that). Pictures of advertising hoardings doesn't get away from the fact that the Chinese Communist Party is still very much in charge. Economic liberalisation of China is continuing apace, but politically the nomenclature is not about to give up power and turn China into a pluralist democracy anytime soon.
