I'd put good money on the old 62xx series nokia phones. I had a 6210 for ages and the damn thing refused to die. Big battery, robust construction, b&w screen (4 lines of text I think). Reliable.

I don't think this can be emphasised enough. 6210 FTW

I took a 6210 two years in a row. Never turned it off. Never ran out. Wednesday -> Monday

Dogs of a workhorse phone. Fairly slim, so not annoying to have in your jeans/combats/whatever pocket.

For a 10 day trip, I'd guess you'd be looking at one recharge.

Might get one myself again for next year + Orange SIM.

My 6230i has been great for all the festivals I've done in recent years. I use it for a varying amount of calls & large number of texts, it lasts well and it's pretty tough. I do take at least one spare battery with me but I don't always need to use it.
