The Taxpayers Alliance: a Tory front group...

Well, do they? :hmm:

When I rang their media enquiries line on 07795 084 113 about a comment on Vodafone's £6bn of tax evasion, "We'll call you back" - I am still waiting.

what time? could set up a FB/ Twitter account. and every hour post - "still not been called back". "tried again but they still couldn't answer my question :( " etc. message some sympathetic journo's, they'll lap it up.

got to embarress them on this.

someone do it. takes ten mins. do it on twitter and get the journo's to "follow" you, it'll soon blow up. its an open goal. all you need to do is post "still no word from the TPA" every hour or two. if you don't know who the journo's are on twitter ask in the main forum i guarentee you will get names / links within the hour.

i'd try it but am at work tomorrow and working on other (connected) things [genuine].

the cunts need exposed, they've had a free hand for far too long.

The Taxpayers Alliance: a Tory front group...

The Unions - a Labour front group...

*yawn*

I thought it was supposed to be the other way round? You lot need to get your narrative straight.

Yes, strictly speaking the Labour Party was created as a 'front group' to act in Parliament for the Trade Unions. They have long since become nothing of the kind, just a milch cow for Labour.

As for the Taxpayers Alliance - who cares, there will always be self-interested pressure groups who don't want to see any re-distribution of wealth. Sadly New Labour seems to be among them.

It's cost-effective to cut the number of t-shirts he owns to one. The market demands that he should make efficiency savings, reducing the amount of money spent on t-shirts and on time spent every day choosing which t-shirt to wear, leving him free to invest time and moeny into other services, such as Ayn Rand and Hayek books. Unfortunately, only owning one t-shirt meant that he did tend to smell a bit, but there's a recession on and we've all got to tighten our belts, nobody should expect libertarians to smell great 100% or even 50% or 25% of the time as we've been used to for the last 50 years - we've been living way beyond our means in that regard. Perhaps when the deficit is paid he can increase his t-shirt spending again, but in the mean time we should be prepared to accept a certain amount of discomfort for a greater good.
love it! :D:D

Time for a quick reminder photo:

Taxpayers Alliance Rally 2009

Jesus fucking christ....

Four of the most punchably smug, self important faces i have ever seen.... The three to the left of the lovechild of brittan and lawson look like they've been pulled into his gravity well... The idiot in the tee shirt just looks like he's there as a dare from his rugger team mates. That utter penis on the far left of the shot is in full on 'young tory gravitas' mode... There are many things to loathe about this picture, but the fact it was taken at all and actually published is probably the most loathsome of these...

..Just fucking look at them... LOOK!

Just on this, I think it's actually a Libertarian Alliance/Freedom Association counter-rally to the April 2009 anti-G20 protests.

It's not the TaxPayers Alliance but the two on the left Tim Aker and Mark Wallace work in a paid capacity for the TaxPayers Alliance.

The two on the right are Felix Bungay and Nic Conner.

Tim Aker in this video has a copy of the Freedom Association's magazine Freedom Today.

AFAIK, the Taxpayers Alliance is funded by the Freedom Association among others.

funny how we never hear a peep out of the Taxpayers Alliance when the subject is millionaires avoiding billions of er...tax innit?

oh yeah, the efficiency savings have meant that the size of his badge has had to be cut, from "fully readable" to "not readable even if you squint". It wasn't the only thing whose size had to be downgraded either, through a mixture of Hayek books and shock therapy involving Margaret Thatcher's face, although the second thing's size was so small that the cut was barely noticeable anyway.

:D:D
Can't have got around to making any serious cuts on fatboy on the right then......

The choice of decent colours for their clothes has also been cut. It was decided that the discomfort (to them) of looking twats outweighted the benefit to others of being able to point and laugh at them, and the money saved from the clothes cutting will be invested in that way (into extra pointing and laughing)

Wallace is Senior Account Manager at Portland Communications. Here he is writing for the tories today, outlining their plans to focus anger at councils rather than the national state. Portland seem to specialise in tory PR and have employed a number of Cameron's circle.
