;) Hi Everyone, would anyone know where I can buy a copy of Borderline Cases, I have tried the usuall, ebay , Amazon etc .No luck!! Thought someone out there might have a COPY to sell??

I ripped my album copy onto mp3 for Longdog. I can burn you a disc if you don't mind the 'authentic' scratches :D

Just seen this....
I agree with bristle-krs RDF rock! I saw them play about five or six times years and years ago. Lost the tapes of them i had. Be good to get some on CD, anyone?!

I'm sure I've seen them at some point on my extensive festival travels, but they don't really ring any proper bells ???

I'm also at risk of mixing them up -- I'm sure inappropriately -- with RDK Sound System (a heavy dub system from the nineties)

Me too... The Beat appear to be playing - I saw them twice last year (Beautiful Days, and the 100 club) and they were in excellent form.

William - RDF are difficult to forget. Two 'singers' - Chris (who more ranted and talked than sang) and Linda (who did the melodius bits). A good many of the songs were about the Hungerford massacre whcih Chris witnessed (some of) first hand...

They played loads of the free festies - including Deptford...

radical dance faction - lovely stuff

'borderline cases' and 'wasteland' lps superb; 'raggamuffin statement' mishmash album a bit pants by comparison; 'live at the bierkeller' excellent...

chris bowsher - like his words.

p.a.i.n. - not as good as r.d.f. but still good.

never got to see them live :(

surplus people!
saw them in 1990, at the ballroom, with the tottenham ak's (ak47s), ruff ruff and ready and citizen fish! :)

blinding gig! :)

& i'm probably the only person to have a leather jacket with the rdf logo on the back! :p

It doesn't mention RDF but my mates band the Cracked Actors are playing, I'll see if they know anything about it.

Spoke to them last night. They hadnt heard about RDF playing at either this one-dayer or the festival, but will have a word with the organisers and find out. :)

They're definitely playing the Endorse-it festival in August, not the one-dayer in Frome on Easter weekend. Discussion thread (on efestivals) here

(btw the party in Frome is kind of doubling as an efestivals pre-festivals get-together should any of you U75/efests minglers fancy it - should be fun :) )

Fantastic! :D

Definatley going to make the festival this year... it was too close to Beautiful Days last year, but this year I reckon we can make a week of it and do both.

Very tempted with the one-dayer too :)

I saw them a couple of times in the early 90's, once supporting Hawkwind in Sheffield, once headlining The Marquee. I liked them at the time, but Chris Bowsher really couldn't sing...

I've no desire to ever see RDF again, so shouldn't really be here, but this Dorset festival thing, anyone go last year? Any good?

In 2005, Endorse it in Dorset date-clashed with the Shhh .... festival ... ;)

Suspect the same will happen again in 2006 :(

<prepares to start 2006 Festival Season research>

The Deptford mention rings bells .... of sorts ...

just found this amazing site, the tunes of my early nineties.. on a very similar dub beat as rdf, does anyone remember shockhead. think they were based in cardiff, only saw them once but they were wicked.

just downloading hawkwind live at Treworgey Tree Fayre in 89, my first proper fezzie expeirence after putting up with corporate events like reading and donnington.. plus the music was better oh and the drugs and also the lass's ;)

I worked on the PA at a gig that they did in Newbury or somewhere. Loads of crusties* etc - I do remember being quite impressed though. I do recall them being very very loud as well.

*I was living in Oxford at the time, which was crustie-central. I was beginning to go off the concept in a fairly serious way.
