Listened to Is This It? the other day, forgot how much I used to like them, far better than their Brit counterparts, The Libertines, by far. I wish I looked like a member of the Strokes, well maybe not the bassist.

I second Reptilia being their best song.

I would pick the strokes, probably.

I didn't really like either very much when I was a younger, but now I like the strokes, but still don't really like the libertines.

I used to like both, I can't really say, "when i was younger," that being 3 years ago at least. Id put both bands in the, Nirvana/Guns n Roses/Oasis group, ok, but should have known better, stage of musical development.

I avoided the Libertines at the time cos of the hype, but they are definetely worth getting into imo cos they have done some crackin songs
