I was there and thought the game had a very promising tactical dimension until Styles thought he saw something he didn't. Probably a yellow in my book, after having consulting with the perfectly positioned Lino, which Styles is too big to do.

As for Chelsea, I though the two right midfield subs, one after the other, summed it up: Spurs brought on their £1 mill promising kid from Leeds, Chelsea - 2-0 up - brought on SWP, a snip at £17 million.

As it goes, we do have the money, but not to spend on a centre forward - especially one who fucked us over last year, is only at Newcastle to serve his England goals, and historically only plays for half a season.

I have battled with NF and BM supporters inside and outside of the ground in the 70s and early 80s, the Chelsea Independent group was anti fash and was for its pains violently attacked after a game and in Europe.
The right have always targeted clubs , I even met two Spurs BNP selling their rag outside Maine Road in the 1990s. I think you will find that although certain supporters used to like to big up their connections at places like Chelsea, west ham, Millwall, Oldham, stoke, to name a few that fans at those clubs have been equally involved in good anti fash work and have seen them off.

It was the 1960/61 season actually, when Bill Nicholson crafted a truly awesome team who won the previously "impossible" double playing the legendary glory-glory football without it all being subsidised by limitless cash funds. That is actually more recent than Chelsea won it as opposed to buying it.
