Anyone fancy sharing some of their playlists from spotify?
I quite fancy some new music.
I quite fancy some new music.

I haven't got round to even creating a playlist yet, I'm still in awe of having so much free music at my disposal.
But when I do create one, I'll let ya know man.

1) How do you make a link (like the ones above) to share a playlist?
2) For anyone using Firefox, the links above won't work in this browswer, but they will in Internet Explorer.

There's some big bands not on there yet - led zep, pink floyd, beatles. I guess the bands not on there think they still sell enough records not to need spotify. Seems to be a cut off point where going on spotify may actually lose some bands money (popular bands).
All the more impressive then when you see big bands that have allowed their music on there - Dylan, Morrissey. They obviously think the priority is getting their music heard and out there, however it's done.
Am I the only one who has never used spotify?
You just make a playlist, right click on it and it'll give ou the link![]()
i very much doubt the bands have any say in the matter - itll be a record label decision
Thank you sir!
What's the difference between last.fm and spotify? I find that I use Last.fm to discover new tunes randomly, whereas with Spotify it's slightly more planned. Planned as in I search around, and with such a fast interface I can sample songs and links so instantly.
That doesn't make it any clearer for me.
It's not, though, as last fm only plays you 30 second segments from music. On spotify you can search for, and listen to, any track you require (which is on it)
Indeed so - I emailed the guy at the Sophia site saying why don't they get the God Machine albums put on Spotify, after all they're proper underrated classics and would probably find a new audience with emo types especially, but he said that Universal owns the rights so they'd have no choice whether to put them up

No it doesn't. I was listening to Blondie the other day and it was WHOLE songs.
