This has been the most entertaining final I can remember in recent years. What I like about both Selby and HIggins is they are old fashioned snooker players - take their time, good safety, play for snookers.
When ROnnie hit the scene, a few years back, there was a big change in the game, and lots of players just played a "go straight into the pack and hope for the best" type game. I think it turned snooker into a pool match, and distorted the old game a bit like big serves do in tennis.
This match so far has it all... lets hope it goes all the way.
Persoanlly Im pissed of Ali CArter (lost by one to Selby) and Maguire (threw away a fat lead) got knocked out as I had them picked from the start - still, its all about Selby now.

Did you hear the commentators say Selby was a 100/1 to win last night at 4/12 down? I hope someone put some big bets on that...
