The Science of Oppositology

The opposite of cat is re-upholstery specialist.

The opposite of builder is teapot.

The opposite of makeup is makeup with glitter in it.

A giant explosion

I was thinking a black hole is a hugely dense mass that sucks in light - therefore it is actually an incredibly massive white ball. The opposite of an actual black hole.

Then again the term 'black hole' is silly because a hole isnt black, its void of colour.

God why did I come on this thread, I'll never sleep now.

which means the opposite of a black hole is the Sun - it's massive, round, colourful and gives off light.

re the actual programme - they (or at least one of them) didn't seem that sure of there own theory imo & this definitely means I've I've thought to much about it but, wtf was that nonsense about the opposite of a hat being "some sort of ice-hat"?
Even if ice-hats existed they'd still be only a partial oppersite going by their definition of a hats funtion - covering your head and keeping you warm - as it'll still cover your head (until it melted) /nerd

I was going to go for a razor but that's a bit too literal innit

I thought ice-hat was the opposite of hair? But yes, that was a bit stupid... And yes, I thought of razor too, and why not? It's much better than something that doesn't exist.

The theory is clearly just a bit of a laugh, and there's definetely no right answer, like I said earlier the interesting thing about it is seeing how people thing about the function of an object. And some of the answers can be funny/interesting, while others just don't work...
