The Bullet Proof Weave.

It could be considered a miracle. A Kansas City woman's hair helped her escape death. Briana Bonds was leaving the grocery store when police say her ex-boyfriend sprayed her car with bullets.

Four rounds made it through both windshields, one of them hit her in the head. But it was Bonds' weave that stopped the bullet.

"And one of them hit the back of my head, and luckily it didn't go through because the back of my weave, my wig cap stopped it and it was hanging in my hair," said Bonds.
"I've invested a lot of money in this weave, it saved my life," said Bonds, she suffered nothing more than a small scrape to her head.

Police arrested her ex-boyfriend a few minutes after the shooting.

Bonds says she won't be giving up her wig any time soon.

Did you see the quality of the sewing in? Her hair was proper bush under the weave. The bullet had no chance.
