Actually, on the tele this morning there was a bit about a little snail ornament that you pour beer into and then the slugs climb into it. It was only about £5.99 but looked like a good idea - if only I could remember where they said it came from......................

OK I'm off to Austria in the morning in search of new strains of champion sunflowers.
When i get back i want to see seedlings, sprouts, soil recipes, performance enhancing potions and a lot more activity on this thread.

Mine are already 4 inches high, I slung a handful of seeds into a ot last week and they have pushed their way up with such force that they pushed some of the soil out of the pot.
