Well, that went well I think. I gave an honest account of myself and the two women interviewing were really warm and friendly but also didn't skimp on the questions. The job itself (research assistant for our local cancer network) sounds fucking full on though!

Anyway, at least now I can relax, calm the adrenaline shakes and look forward to drinking some beer tonight.

Nothing from the Chelsea people but the London fields lot emailed to say they are still interviewing and whether I'm still interested so it's not all bad.. could do with some more interviews though...

Well my interview went quite well, I think. They smiled and nodded a lot, and were dead impressed that I'd come straight from an interview with Lord Winston (the fertility expert), who'd turned them down for a previous programme!!

I decided against sexy, though, but then I do have an Oxbridge degree to fall back on. ;-)

I did my best, and if I don't get the job then it's because it wasn't right for me, I've decided. Still, fingers crossed. I'll find out tomorrow.

That was the shortest interview ever. In and out in about twenty minutes and the lass interviewing me (who must of only been about 18, I swear) never looked at me in the eye once or even shook my hand.

I think I made her all hot and bothered.

Can't but help to think that was an utter f'ing waste of time

Hahahaha, this job is PWNED! They just rang up half an hour ago and offered it to me.

Roll on doing loads more work for the same money...oh.

On the other hand, roll on giving my current job the finger and not having to work for a disorganised control freak.

Heh, got another job interview now! On Thursday, for another research assistant post but with a completely different organisation.

I'm a bit stuck if they offer it to me; the money is a couple of grand better than I'd be getting with the NHS one, but I don't think the work will be as interesting or that there will be as much opportunity for advancement. Oh well.

Fuckin 'ell, they want me as well! I feel like a proper grown up at last. Now I get to go and hand in my notice properly (yay!) and tell my other would-be employers that actually I'm not going to take the job after all.

I love handing my notice in.

Just had an interview daahn saahf so had to spend about 12 hours travelling down from Oban to Portsmouth! So was pretty knackered during the interview, but chugged lots of coffee and pro-plus before I went in and wasn't falling asleep or anything.

Seemed to go fairly well, said they'd get back to me after a week or two. Got another one next week in Nottingham and another the week after that near Leamington Spa. Think I prefer the Portsmouth one so far.

It's great when you come out of a 2+ hrs interview feeling fairly positive!

Had an interview today. Went alright - nice person - got on with her. Only problem is because I have a background awash with design experience she thinks I might get bored. But she is still considering me for the job and has forwarded my cv to someone else within the company. I'm not holding my breathe about these jobs. Maybe I should just go back into design.

Hellfire ! i've just been called for an interview for a job I'd really like but thought I didn't have a hope in hell of being shortlisted for! Its on Tuesday morning and now I'm frantically looking up stuff about palliative care to prepare for it.

I just had a call about a job that I randomly applied for last night, but didn't think I would have a hope in hell of getting because the money was so much more than I'm on at the minute. It sounds really interesting and they wanted to see me tomorrow, but I can't make that short notice so I'm off to see them next week.

Basically a pre-press-proofer-photo-editor-layout-monkey-designer-web-editor-type-thing for one of the biggest and best known creative directories in da world. If I get it, I'll be well chuffed, but I'd be surprised if I do and I'd also shit my pants as some of the people I'd be working with include Jeremy Sin-fucking-clair

We had someone we really wanted to do it because she was used to be an intern for Le Book.
She just accepted our proposal and we'd like to give her a chance. She put a lot of energy in Le Book before and she already knows a lot about it.
