well, damn fine work there. :)

What's been your largest winning pot?

I'm not sure exactly as my HH monitoring software is less than great (bodog doesn't give you your hand histories, you have to extract them from the client), but the best one I can find is $700 exactly. I'd been playing very loose and aggressive and when I shoved the river he thought I was full of shit and called with a worse flush.

I'm "identifier: btw.

The stack sizes are all at $1000 cos the software I wrote to capture the play can't see stack sizes (or shown down cards - I think he had the Qh) :o

I use pokertracker and the gametime+ HUD. If you play any amount of poker and want to improve your game and winrate I recommend you invest in them or their equivilents sooner rather than later. I put off buying pokertracker for way too long.

With PT, you can analyse your past hands and track your performance. A HUD allows you to quickly identify the terrible players at your table so you can focus on extracting money from them rather than the regulars. It shows things like how aggressive they are, how often the raise preflop and things like that. For example, if you have 100 hands on someone and they've never raised pre-flop when suddenly they do, you can be fairly certain they've got a big pair or AK.

Gametime+ is free, and there's a new one in town called realtime hud, which is also free. PAHUD is the most popular but costs money. I think PT3 has just come out so it's a good time to buy it if it has.

Unlike almost every other poker room online, bodog doesn't save your hand histories to disk. You have to use another program to "watch" the tables and record the action. I ended up writing my own "handgrabber" for bodog because the one I was using stopped working when bodog upgraded their software and the guy who wrote it hasn't bothered to release a new version. It's called donkwatch (the old software was called dogwatch fyi) I've sold a couple of copies at http://donkwatch.googlepages.com/

Nice one Fraction....will take a look at that site when sober tomorrow.

How you finding the level of comp at Bodog...I have been playing VC for a while now & fancy a change...already tried stars/F-Tilt.?

If you play at Partypoker or Ultimatebet then you can leave PT watching the tables without even sitting down, upto 4 or 5 tables max, do that every night for a week and you'll soon be able to identify the rocks and the fish.

Just a matter of looking out for the fish and then cleaning them out :D

Pickles, theres a beginners guide at the link below.

Beginners guide to PT

ETA: I tend to only play Horse now as I love the variety of games and you'll often find people playing that are clueless at either razz and stud 8.

Bodog's pretty fishy. Much softer than pokerstars or fulltilt and probably softer than VC (which is an iPoker skin). It's only busy in the evenings though, cos it's full of americans - iPoker is full of europeans.

This is sick
