I saw Jethro Tull a few years ago at the Cambridge Corn Exchange - they were fantastic and the audience did not just consist of hippies and radio 2 listeners, it was a somewhat eclectic mix of all ages!! so to all those who do not appreciate the Tull for the fab band they are.

My mum went out with the drummer of Jethro Tull at school.

Is she now single? I can lose my wife if need be.

The Coal Porters are playing The Sheepwalk that night. Maybe I can do both. It's only a ten minute walk between the two venues.

Forget it!!! The coal porters are always playing..and will be dull in comparison.. (though admittedly Sid is rather good. )

I know someone from Brighton who reckons this band is very good, some of them also play with a band called 'The Fold'.

Off to eastern europe for a couple of weeks so can't attend..

No comparison - Although I'll agree Sid has been good in other incarnations, this lot are not it.

It took the Broken Family Band the last time I dragged myself right out to Leytonstone for a gig, anyway.

Tonight, when I go out (which'll be soon ) I'll be elsewhere ...

They were brilliant. One of the best bands I've seen in a long time. The detail was impressive, even down to the cod-piece. Hollis has some fantastic photos.

The only downside was the twat that keep hassling my Good Lady Wife and Hollis' friend. In the end Hollis lost his temper and told the guy to fuck off and gave him a shove. It then got a bit heated and the twat got thrown out but not before I smacked him in the head.

It's really starting to piss me off the amount of guys that hassle my Good Lady Wife and won't take no for an answer. It's happening on a more and more often from PRoD to just going to my local. WTF?
