I can't work out which one I prefer so I thought you could decide for me. Poll to follow.... if I can work out how to do a poll...

I'm sure there are some good Polish beers available back in Poland, but, without exception, every single Polish beer that's widely available in England is piss.

Carling is amongst England's best selling beers if not THE best selling beer in England. Does that mean it's good?
I appear to hate everything? Absolute bollocks.Good is subjective. No doubt you are the kind of person who hates anything "popular". In fact, judging by your posts, you appear to hate everything.
try and make statements that you can back up.

I thought I was a beer snob. At the risk of derailing my own thread, what is your idea of a good lager from the averaged English offy?
I'd say:
Budvar, Staropramen - great but overpriced
Becks - nice if a little bit bland
Kronenburg - ok
Peroni, Asahi, Red Stripe - bland and inoffensive
Stella - functional if a bit chemically out of the can
Carlsberk Special Tennants Super etc. - very functional
Carling, Carlsberg, Fosters, Budwiser, Brahama - Bland to the point of being offensive. I'd reserve the description 'piss' for this set.
