Call them Brian and Blesséd :)

:D - perfect!

They are gorgeous, wiskers!

I agree with Pie on the name thing though - I prefer silly/human names for animals. Our cat was called Peter. Easy to shout in the garden!

I like 'Samso' :)

drugs seems more takky than hippy even.

"skuuuuunk" shouted out the door might not be great - good job we moved from brixton or everyone would be shouting his name ;)

i think we're pretty set on reuben or milton, one will stick by the end of the day.

she's still proving difficult.

:D

Well you can bastardise the name, eg. Herbie

I like Milton, don't like Reuben much

I'm home now, will be round in a while

You could name the other one Keynes ;)

I used places names for my german exam once, the story became about Frau Regis and her daughter Bognor :D

Ok, what about Kali and Neesh(short for Ganeesh)?? Or do what the wombles did and put a pin in a map and that's the name.
Or Holly and Ash?
I just know you're not gonna go with them :(

they are asleep atm, storing up for your arrival at which point there will be much bouncing and pouncing and falling off the sofa.

Names:

for the lad:

Enki (sumerian god of crafts, water, intelligence and creation. Plus it sounds cute... :p)
Enlil (Sumerian supreme God form around 2,500BC - before this I believe it was An)
Seti/Seth/Set
Thoth
Osiris
Anubis
Horus
Konsu
Sepa

for the lil' lady:

Inana
Ishtar
Anunit
Astarte (all the same goddess, sumerian/Assyrian/Babylonian Mother goddess)
Isis (needs no introduction)
Ereshkigal for the full on evil-cat vibe (Sumerian Goddess of the underworld).
Tiamat (mother Goddess sliced in half by Marduk to form the vault of heaven and the earth, her weeping eyes become the origin of the Tigris and the Euphrates)
Bastet (bit obvious, that one)

Still a bloody hippy though... :p ;)

cheers Cid, Ishtar stuck immediately (although Tiber caused some thought), it just seems to suit her perfectly.

and he's Milton.

i think they are broken. they just seem to sleep :(

As long as their noses are damp and they wake up to eat frequently they're fine. They've had a busy time. :)

they wake up and bounce for a while, then they sleep

its cool.

except every two hours or so last night this tornado would rip its way across the duvet in a flurry for ten mins which was a bit disconcerting.

Welcome to the world of cats. They spend even more time sleeping when they get older.

Ours still do the tornado thing occasionally and they're three and one and a bit.

Your girl cat is the spitting image of our Hendrix, btw.
