I managed to catch the last minute of Vyle and the first of Serafinowisc. Made me realise how infrequntly I watch the BBC nowdays. 'Thursdays are funny', are they? Not quite mate
Watched it last night for the first time ... and it wasn't as bad as I expected it to be! Fairly hit and miss (like most sketch shows) but it had the odd moment that made me laugh
I really liked it. Yeah it's not overly original, but made me laugh. His impressions are spot on (Kevin Spacey last week was brilliant) and I love the Brian Butterfield character.
"You can eat anything! Pizza! Hoisin duck! Mystery meat! Bonbonbonbons!"

That kind of spoofing just feels like it's been done so many times before. Problem is, Brass Eye set a high standard and no one's really matched it.
There was one charecter he was doing last night (the "lessons in acting by ..." sketch) which was well bizarre. It came across as being an impression of Leonard Rossiter (a very good one, too!), but it was meant to be someone else (who I can't rememebr the name of).
