Ah, I'm with you now!

Signing the wrestling - also  Lots of facial expression needed there I guess!

Is it BSL? I learnt BSL many years ago (to CACDP Stage 1), but can't remember very much at all. About the only sign I haven't forgotten is, ironically, the sign for 'forgotten'. But I can still finger spell :)

Yes, it's BSL. I direct the studio when I'm in there (I am fluent in BSL, I have Deaf parents). It's fun signing the wrestling. Feedback tells us the kids love it.

Half term is winning it for me at the minute

Can I adjust this? Half term in February will win it for me, because this literacy plan is eating my hollydayz.

:D

Car/Mileage/tax/insurance/services

Laptop

Couple of business development trips per year to foreign parts - which I have knocked on the head now cos my boss (or rather co-director) still hasn't given me a rise cos he says he can't afford it, but is happy to spunk 600 squid on a 'business development trip' - ie, let's talk bollocks all day and get pissed at night. No way jose, no more fucking trips if you can't afford to pay me

I'm my own boss. I do the work I like, when I like.

I get paid according to how hard I work, not according to someone else's idea of my pay grade.

It is my JOB to dick around on the internets.

You can sometimes see real live juggling from my office window.

The people I work with are my friends.

I don't really get any perks anymore.

But I love my job and that's a tick in a big box for me. And I get massive oncall pay, which acts as food money all month!

car/laptop/phone/ability to work at home and organise my own diary/ all paid expenses/ huge step up/ massive opportunity.

I once didn't see my boss for two months.

A really interesting job, laptop, international travel (about to go to Tokyo for 4 weeks and New Jersey for 2 weeks, Boston in Jan, just back after 2 weeks in San Diego!), living on expenses...

I don't really have perks. I work for the NHS and I am often lucky to have a break or finish on time but Im on this thread today cos we have been given 1 extra day annual leave this yr as a thank you for our work which for the majority includes a lot more than the pay or job description suggests.

Other than that Im thankful for my annual leave...I currently receive slightly over 7 weeks each year...

Paid study leave and actively encouraged to go on more courses. Work is paying for me to complete my degree at the moment and in the future prob my masters...

My pension...

I think i forgot the flats that can several capital cities at weekends for super discount prices. Or the holiday homes available in Scandinavia, or the free sailing lessons and rent of yachts. Or opera tickets, or the Xmas box full of goodies every year.
Sucks.

I get free bubble wrap and cardboard boxes :(

My boss is also too busy to actually find the time to give me work to do.

I forgot that we get all the newspapers to read for free.

I don't do newspapers though as I prefer my news unbiased and true. So bit of a wasted perk.

Tax free salary
13th month extra salary bonus
Overtime or days off in lieu for working during Ramadan
35 days holiday
Free three bedroom apartment (but I'm really gutted I don't get a villa with a swimming pool, although if I get married I'll get that)
No utility bills
Paid flight home every year
Interest free car loan
I get to watch telly all day, only news though, and sometimes really gory, graphic feeds that we don't air :(
I have internet access
6 or 7 minute commute to work + free parking

The absolute best thing of all though is that the sun shines over here! :) It's a nippy 32 degrees and falling, although I will still be heading to the beach on my days off on Monday and Tuesday! :)

Considering how amazing all that sounds, I'm sure we could come to some mutually beneficial arrangement re: getting wed - keep me in the good life and as reward you get your villa with pool!

:p
