 :D
they're lucky they're not getting 4 hours of acid techno.

I hate to admit it,but you're all right. I have to play lots of cheesy stuff don't I.

so,moar!! I'm gonna slip in some house of pain jump around and maybe nwa str8 outa compton.

It'll be a mixed crowd, mostly I'd say late 20s to early 40s. Not many ravers as far as i'm aware, but I know a few lurk in the shadows.

I used to regularly prostitute myself for Planet Hollywood on Friday/Saturday nights. This is usually what went down well:

Kool & The Gang
Sister Sledge
Michael Jackson
Stevie Wonder
Village People
Grease *cringes* 'Megamix'
Abba
Barry White
ABC
Spandau Ballet
Cyndi Lauper
James Brown
Jackson 5
Duran Duran
Prince
Nina - 99 Red Balloons
Spice Girls
A-Ha
Run DMC
Madonna
Guns N Roses
Van Morrison - Brown Eyed Girl
Free - Alright Now
Toni Basil - Hey Mickey
Thin Lizzy
Ace Of Base
Beastie Boys
Dee Lite

etc etc etc

Just think, upbeat, party classics. Go buy those school disco albums and you'll be sorted for a whole evening. If you're *really* bothered about not being a complete twat then there are plenty of good tunes among that list which will help maintain your street cred (lol) - just remember you should be prepared for some bird to come up and say - ' ave you got any Ronan Keating for me and my husband' - it was our wedding tune etc etc....

Sometimes it pays to play the worst tunes of all time ;)

I can only admire the depths to which you'll stoop to keep your crowd happy!

But the bottom line is that if they're happy and the dance floor is packed, you're doing what you're paid for, so good on you.
