The Official 'I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here' Thread

I'll hold my hands up to being flippant over Elaine and the drink - sorry if I offended anyone. I agree having an alcohol problem is no fun and should not be sneered at, but in this context I believe she and/or her agent should have given it more thought. I've done a bit of reading up and it appears she has had a dreadful time of it since leaving Eastenders. Her baby was born premature with a hernia in January and her mother died "by falling under a train" in the Summer. Poor girl must be desperate for the money to try and endure the jungle.

as for the rest of it ... Jilly is getting more strident by the hour, the ex-emmerdale girl, having impressed everyone with jumping out of the plane is now scared of birds  I'm liking Jimmy so far.

Yeah I liked the way the birds were literally just standing there placid as anything while she screamed "Look at them pecking! They're trying to escape!"

Jimmy scares me. He looks like a deformed Donny.

Jilly Golden - make her go away.

oh look - there is a switch here that does it ;)

Bet those in the jungle wish they could :D

Please stop Antony whatsisface from singing someone..... :(
Apart from that it's ok so far.
Oh and btw...most/alot celebs are kinda unstable. :p

I am looking forward to watching Little Jimmy wrestle with kangaroos tonight.

Perhaps he will pacify them with his terrifying rictus grin.

I've now worked out that he reminds me of some serial killer in some film but I can't remember which film.

Top quote from Sid: "I don't fink I've ever read a script all the way through..."

Maybe she's not that daft after all....

Elaine is out. Sign a £25k contract. Find out that you are the lowest paid. Pull a sicky as soon as you get in. Have three weeks in Oz for free with a cheque in your skyrocket. Wish i had thought of that!

"The detailed investigations carried out by separate doctors over the last two days have shown her to be in good health.

“But ITV has a responsibility to all of the celebrities taking part in the show and given what has happened to Elaine on two separate occasions in as many days and knowing what challenges lie ahead in the show, ITV has decided to err on the side of caution and Elaine has reluctantly agreed to withdraw from I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!”

I thought she had scary looking fits though?

Surely she's not that good an actress?

Jebbers tp - even the most amateur of thespians (or anyone for that matter) can act out a faint!

*faints*

*waits for someone to come to my aid with £25k cheque*

*waits a bit longer*

*wonders if I can get up yet*

*....er...nope*

*...hello?.....hello?*

*realises cant reach keyboard and so cand ask U75 for help*

Could this be the last post I ever make?

JOE! JOE! JOE! OH MY GOD! JOE! SOMEBODY CALL A MEDIC! OH MY GOD! MEDIC! PLEASE! FOR THE LOVE OF CHRIST, HE'S FALLEN OVER! DOES NOBODY CARE??

<stands around, wrings hands>

Oh, God, that was soooooooo traumatic. I feel a bit faint. It was terrible watching Joe fall over like that. I think I might have to withdraw as well.

Do I get £25,000?

It wasn't just a faint though, it was a proper fit stiff limbs thing. If she was acting it's better than anything I've seen her do on Eastenders.

I'm OK! Found a jelly baby under the desk, dusted it off and I'm back! We'll split the money baby!

Hahahahahaha!

I concede. She cant have been acting - she didnt do the 'mysterious face over someones shoulder into the camera lens to let the audience know how I *really* feel' thing that they all do on 'Stenders! Look out for it - Chrissy and Sharon are the best ones. Wait for their last line of the scene, and wait for them to pull it. Turn it into a drinking game - I do. (I am sad though)

From a recent script

Chrissy - "Oh Sharon I'm so pleased for you!"
Sharon - "Thanks Chrissy"
Close up on Chrissy. Chrissy looks over Sharons shoulder into the lens and pull a devious scheming face

Sorry, think I've done too much work and gone a bit funny. That reply reminded me of that Marks and Spencers food advert....

Seductive Lady voice -"This isn't just a faint. Its the hammiest, most overcooked stiff limbed faint etc etc"

I loved this programme in the past. But I watched Carol Thatcher through a fug of hatred and distaste. I just can't get past who her mother was. I'm not sure I can watch much more.

She can't help who her mother is.

Peegate tonite apparently ... yawn yawn.

I wanted Elaine back in really to prove us all wrong, but he ho.

Cannon and Ball - well words fail me - I just hope someone nicks their braces early on and the ticks have a field day

:(

Edit to say : sorry, I quoted the mother bit coz of peegate ... I actually think Carol is standing up quite well (apart from when she's squating) - much less annoying than Jilly.

I love watching the changing dynamics of programs like this. Start off all being jolly supportive and kind to each other and gradually as hunger steps in the knives will come out and the bitching will start....I suspect the stronger women will attack the weaker men and girlies eventually...Jilly and Carol will have them over a spit before the week is out you mark my words. ;)

Intellectually I agree that you shouldn't visit the sins of the parent on the offspring. But emotionally, I'm filled with hate. Not pretty, but true.

Let it go .. emotionally I spose I could feel the same, 36k's worth of negative equity thanks to her mum ... but its only a gameshow, and reading between the lines, she doesn't get on with her mum that much anyway.

i thought she hated thatch cos thatch blatantly favoured mark throughout their childhood??

oh god i posted on the 'i'm a celeb' thread ....
<rushes off to scrub self with iron wool>

...but she seems to have built her entire "career" on the fact that she's offspring of the evil witch ...

 can have the wire wool when yer finished wit it kea
