The NUFC story gets even funnier

theres been too muc hype about KK return in the NE.this season ? survival should be the priority, now else. Ditto next season. No steenkin intertotos or UEFAS just fuckin survival.

have . to . learn . to . limit . expectations.

we were never going to beat arsenal at the emirates. It's a sad fact. we're not currently good enough. Lets judge KK on what he can do from now on. hopefully there will be a genuine signing or two top surprise is in the next couple of hours then some games against sides who aren't far off our level.

Yes zoltan thats what ive been saying, sure im happy kevs back and stuff, but im under no illusions how awfully bad it is right now. The fact we havent brought anybody worries me and the best we can do is bid for someone whose at a club whose only beaten one team this season(us) and even that gets rejected. We were too slow when bidding for woodgate, we need to be alot fucking faster since time is limited. Any other of u newcastle fans find us irritatingly slow in the transfer market?

Yeah.We simply HAVE to win this game. The next ones are gonna be tough. We could easily be in the danger zone in a few weeks.

Yes it was worryingly bad. It still is. Stop giving sam excuses. kevs had like 1 week ffs. Sam was playing long ball/nothing tactics. Wenger justs aid newcastle loooked threatening all the time but luckily arsenal are solid defensively. Which is good. And that we had good 'spirit'.

Wise will work closely with Vetere and Jimenez, who was intimately involved in his appointment and whose work for the club will be formalised when he is appointed in a part-time position today. Although his background is in property, the Spanish-speaking Jimenez is well connected in football and has a reputation as an astute deal-maker, helping to bring Juande Ramos to Tottenham as head coach before beginning work for Newcastle late last year.

Jimenez has known Wise since the latter’s playing days at Chelsea a decade ago and the pair have maintained a close friendship.

Vetere will also have a crucial role because, in contrast with Keegan’s first period in charge, when he scrapped the reserve team, Newcastle are pinning their hopes on youth development, hoping to follow the successful models in place at Arsenal and Seville by filling their academy with the best players from all over the world.

The multilingual Vetere began his career as a youth-team manager at Rushden & Diamonds, but he was appointed overseas co-ordinator at Charlton Athletic by Alan Curbishley, who also took him to West Ham United before Vetere left for Real.

lol, keegan said wise being there would make him do his job better, hmmm, i get what he's saying but not the right choice of words there king kev.

I think Keegan, Cox, McDermott, Shearer, Wise, Morcombe, Corbett, Barker, Reeves and Mortimer could be the dream ticket for the Magpies.

Big Sam got a point against Arsenal at the end of last year didn't he? Bet he's shaking his head as he counts the contents of his wallet. Kevin Keegan's Comedy Club could well take Newcastle from mid table obscurity to an exciting end of season relegation dog fight.

I bet they can hear the Makems laughing in Oz.

and the moral of the story is don't let fat chavs buy clubs who haven't got a clue what they're doing. God I bet they laugh at him at every board room up and down the country.

Again you guys(in regards to that biffo quote) giving Sam too much credit. Arsenal didnt have fabregas back then and werent at their best for abit. Even boro beat them ffs. Now with fabregas, arsenal are a different force, and hes the kinda player we lack.

I don't think Big Sam did too good a job there, even though his squad was riddled with injuries. I'd rather have him as manager of my team than KK et al though.
