Your use of fringe parties that do not even enjoy a seat in K'nesset means nothing. You might try to remember that Likud is not in power, nor has been for some time.

Furthermore, HAMAS has a Charter that clearly states that the organisation is fully committed to Israel and the Jews' destruction. There is no comparison.

GFieendish: I do not know enough about UK laws to comment intelligently on it. I will say this though, back channel negotiation with the blessing of the sitting government is different that taking it upoun ones' self to open up lines of communication is an entirely different thing.
