The need for a no eating hot and cold food at your desk policy

In the jobs I have had I have always been able to eat at my desk, my only problem with it was when it started to get to the stage that I was excpected to eat my lunch at my desk....whilst working....another one of those stupid unwritten office rules. At this stage I stopped eating at my desk and left the office for every second of all my break entitlement.

I hate places like that.

Today I have left over curry which I will reheating and eating at my desk. It is a mixture of Chicken Madras, Lamb Bhuna and something else (do not recall).

People eating hot or cold food (no matter how smelly) at their desks doesn't bother me... what really pisses me off are the people who think its ok to liberally spray perfume/ hairspray/ deordorant/ anything aerosol based and smelly in the office and or toilets... eurch!

God yes. You go into the toilets some evenings if there's a 'do' on and you can hardly breathe in there. Yuck.
