Last Saturday's purchase, made in Jermyn Street at Favourbrook
www.favourbrook.com
A Frock Coat, reduced from £450 to £217 and I've worn it every day since, so cheap.
The cost per wear is plunging.
My mates think it's well cool.
ps MASSIVE bargains to be found at expensive shops at the moment![]()
Let's have a look at you in your frock coat then. I love frock coats.

I have a sequinned turquoise dress and matching shoes I bought for my friend's wedding 10 years ago. She said when she saw me 'that is amazing but you're never going to wear it again'. And I never have.
I still think it's fabulous though![]()
.oh god, i've just remembered... i bought a pair of leather trousers years ago, my bf of the time encouraged me to get them. anyway i dumped him not long after and gave the trousers to a charity shop because i couldn't bear to wear them. what a waste of money, think they were about 150 quid tooI have a pair of Donna Karen leather trousers that were reduced from £500 to £200 and I haven't worn them even once - I hate leather trousersOh, and they were slightly too long so I did a diy job on them with sizzors - you can't really tell but...

Im expecting a series of posts saying 'wedding dress.'
To be clear: Im not necessarily talking item of greatest value, Im talking Cost Per Wear.
E.g1. A pair of genuine Ugg boots, worn everyday for a year would have a CPW of just pennies ... but worn just once, and you'd be a mug (with Uggs).
The highest cost per wear item in my wardrobe is a handmade 4 piece suit (skirt and trews). All of it unworn in 3 years.

ooooh sequinny. that sounds.
It is pretty amazing but I should sell it really. It's a Patty Shelabarger who is an LA designer

(obv that is Anna Friel, not Patty)
but I really like it. I might get it framed. As it's sequins, I don't think it would fade would it?
OMG, it's GORGEOUS!!!!!

That isn't my dress! Shall I take a picture?![]()
I repeat:
OMG! That's GORGEOUS!
)There's this website now where you can hire dresses for a couple of days at a time, for probably £50-£100 a go, which is actually not bad on a CPW basis. But it's not the same really, is it?
