Lets be clear, I'd never pass up a choco lesbian whether it was milk or dark but if push came to shove and I had to choose, milky lesbos would win every time.

Whooosh! I have transported you to the Funny Quotations thread :D

Not in my book. They're better than rich tea, though. Anything's better than rich tea.
<sharp intake of breath>
What about "Nice" biscuits?
I reckon they vie with rich tea for dullness...

I saw some reduced fat rich tea biscuits the other day. What's the bloody point of those? Are they high fat? How can such a dull biscuit be high in fat?

The only person I know that likes them is my sister's dog. But obviously she isn't a person.

i like rich tea biscuits :)

i dip them in melted chocolate or ice faces on them with colouful icing, and stick sweets on them as eyes :D

i have eated 8 biscuits in the last half hour. my teeth now hurt :(

You need to take a firm grip really, they're elusive little devils.

Rich teas are both  and tasty. Dull biscuits, live long and prosper!

I'll get a pack of both tonight and give my opinion tomorrow
The taste test will be later today ^^ :D

As promised SZC:
Chunky choc chip cookies

190ºC – 15mins

225g butter (at room temp)
125g soft brown sugar
280g self raising flour
80g chocolate (roughly chopped)

-cream the butter and sugar
-sift in the flour & add choc (and anything else eg nuts)
-mix well into a dough
-shape into balls & squash onto a baking tray (that’s lined with brown or greaseproof paper)
-bake for 15mins (might need slightly less depending on your oven and the size of the cookies... I can't remember how many those quantities are meant to make :o)
-cool for 5mins then move to a rack to cool completely

(you can replace some of the flour for cocoa powder if you want double choc cookies :))

I think I might make those today - I'm bored of my reduced fat stem ginger cookies

Do I need 70% cocoa solids choc or is plain green and blacks okay?

They're dead easy and quick to make.

I use whatever chocolate I can find trashy... milk, white, dark :) (sometimes all three!)

When they come out the oven they look really squishy and if they're not cooked, but harden a little as they cool.
