Wacky self-indulgent pretentious student toss.

If someone says they like it you can pretty much disregard everything else they say. People who like the Mighty Boosh should be banned from watching real comedy like Curb Your Enthusiasm and Peep Show.

You're talking complete arse. I like all 3 of those shows. Though I've only seen episode 1 of TMB 3. My only problem with it, is that it relies on essentially the same jokes, just in different settings. For that, it can be annoying. Generally though it still makes me laugh enough to make it worth watching.

Series 1: meh, Series 2: brilliant, Series 3: shite. This is the definitive evaluation of The Mighty Boosh. All others are just wrong.

I saw about five minutes of series one.

And decided that the each remaining second of my life would be better spent doing almost anything (quite possibly including choking to death on my own foetid vomit).

I think it's rubbish and I'm glad to see so many here declare their dislike, as I thought there weren't many of us! Almost all my friends with similar 'tastes' in TV shows and comedy, etc., love it.

I like it. It's not laugh out loud all the way through, tho there will be couple of LOLers for me in each one. Generally though, it's one of those that you have to kind of relax into and it gets me chortling away to myself in a way that also makes me think (the setting, some of the storylines like the identity theft one last week).

There's lots of bitter OLD people on this thread.OLD in the heart.
tbh, the best comedy known to humankind is ISIHAC.

Which has been going for godonlyknowshowmany years.

In three years' time, no-one'll remember the Night of Bosh, and those what do will remember it as a temporary (and now unfunny) fad.

Fashion is temporal.

Style is eternal.

The Night of Bosh is not - I suspect - in the latter category. In fact, I'd bet your right arm on it.

Aithangyew.

That sounds like something Vince would say :D
Yeah.

I think it's a bastardisation of Coco Chanel or summat.

I always used to use it as a smartarse comment when I was drunk and never had enough money to buy clothes :)

e2a: Eve Saint Laurence, even. Fashion fades, style is eternal. Whoosh :)

Ergo, the Night of Bosh has been condemned by a fashion icon :)

e2e2a: 'style' icon, even :o

Generally one or two laughs a show, a lot of dross in there.
Oooo!

Both Matt AND Luke?

I didn't even know they were twins until a couple of year's back :o

The first series of the Mighty Boosh (where they were zookeepers) was really funny. It went downhill from there. Now I'd rather watch Look North.

I like it, it doesn't make me laugh out loud but then again very few comedy shows do - I just like it. I look forward to watching it.

In fact I think sometimes they do programmes an injustice by calling them 'comedies' as that seems to make people expect a laugh a minute, a lot of so called comedies won't make you laugh but they might make you think, or cringe or whatever.

p.s. I'm not a student, nor a stoner, but a middle aged midget (as EastEnder once so accurately described me)
