boston arms can put bands on at strange times and i've missed a few folk there before.

there's 3 bands and it's a dirty water night, i can't imagine the first band going on before 8.30 at the very earliest, more like 9, and madame cats about half 10-11. i am just going on other visits though, they don't really put them on at odd times on dirty water nights do they?

I ran like the wind to catch the last train home only to arrive ten minutes early.

Then it was delayed for another 30.

Saturday was damn good as well. It was great to get two very different but also good venue experiences for them.

grrrr no it was just a funny thing rather than a vain style fashion thing and anyway it wasnt me who did it it was someone else.

Ah, good, thanks for that. Stupid fucking tube. The train I needed to catch east went from the west platform (over a bridge) for some reason. It pulled in and went back out again. No announcement, no destination marked anywhere. Loads of people were waiting for it and were all going nuts.

By 1.30 I had only made it as far as aldwich so decided to just go to work. I found a bottle of wine in the fridge and planned my route home (security didn't look too happy with me).
I managed to catch a 2.30 night bus home and was surprisingly sober considering I had been in the pub since 5. Or maybe I was too drunk to realise I wasn't sober at all.
