The London Red Room - Free Music and Comedy Event

LesNatrels

fill an empty chair
Have okayed this with mod, so would like to invite urbanites to our free event in west London on Sunday the 19th March.

We have a great night of music (not because my band Les Natrels are playing, though that helps ;) ), but because we have friends Chapter24 Aidan McGee, Steve Tyman, comedian Andrew Wallace, and a DJ till late. all for FREE!! :D

Here's what Aidan has to say about it

last year when I visited the botanical gardens in rio de janeiro, i
thought that the perfect gig would probably be set by the lake there and
involve london's leading purveyors of delicious rubble, les natrels.

then they beat me to the punch and decided to host a sunday of hopefully
riotous and rumply alt-stuff. no botanical gardens or views of corcovado
i'm afraid but neither of them were on the hammersmith and city line.

In other words:

Les Natrels curate a free!!! evening of music and comedy on Sunday March
19th at

The Red Room
Inn On The Green
3 Thorpe Close W10

Tube: Ladbroke Grove

doors open 5pm

Les Natrels, Chapter 24, Steven Tyman, Aidan McGee, Andrew Wallace,

AND DJ Duncan Lee Harman until late

Les Natrels play Stockhausen meets Summer of Love meets Superjoint
Ritual meets Sesame Street rubble of the most delicious order.

Steve Tyman is - finally - the country's natural heir to the mantle
previously owned by Johnny Rotten and the Pogues thereafter.

Chapter 24 play seriously wicked psyched-out stuff in the key of Syd
Barrett and hopefully one of them will be donning a fairy dress.

Andrew Wallace will be cracking the jokes.

Aidan McGee will letting it all flit across the radar and then lunging
forth - as yet undecided on whether to replicate the fairy dress look.
Recently he has been listening to Bulgarian folk, English church choral,
Argentine tango, Brazilian electro-samba and the Sugababes. (All at the
same time so as to drown the Sugababes out?)

I have been posting and reading U75 for a few years now, and we are very happy to finally be able to offer a free night of fun and music for people here to come down to. Would be lovely to see you there.

Well, I don't know if anyone from Urban came to our fantastic event,

but we now have a bit of a video from it on our MySpace page for your consideration.

Let us know what you think?

:D
